SuperMoms

Why is it that the moms in my tribe feel like we are required to be supermoms 24/7 and if we miss for like 15 minutes then we consider ourselves to be total failures? Why cant we cut ourselves a break and say hey, I'm doing a really great job, and i do a really great job about 90% of the time, and that's amazing, and I'm amazing and my kids are amazing and if something slides every once in a while its because I'm just human and that's ok, it's a good thing even....

i think i'm going to try to model that attitude. Call me on it if i don't....

I like that, can I sponsor your amazing-super-mom attitude if you sponsor mine?

maybe we should all print out your life-affirmation, and post it around the house? because it is hard to remember... we could tack it over any old copies of "holland."

super attitude being good or not, i would never "call you on it." the only thing more sucky than feeling inadequate and guilty about oneself, is adding on also feeling inadequate and guilty about feeling that way...

however, please know you are an inspiration to me. :) you soldier on and you call it like it is. it is a comfort to me to have you alongside during this journey.

xoxox to you.. I went to lunch with two other moms and their "typical kids" Ha. why is it that I demand such perfect behavior from my SNkid when their kids are crawling all over/under the place? You go super mom... youi rock all the time in my mind.
